Thanks to my wonderful, supportive husband of almost 28 years, Lynn, and all four of my children, two of whom are already blogging.  Also, thanks to my parents, who continue to pray for me every day, and my entire, bewildered extended family, who wonder if I am out of my mind. (Most days.)

“No man is an island, entire of itself…” John Donne

This is my first serious attempt at creating a blog, and I could not do it by myself.  So, I want to acknowledge those people and resources that have been indispensable to my efforts.  In particular, I want to pass on valuable information to other bloggers who may be trying to get started, too.

Following is an ongoing list, in no particular order, of books, blogs, and people you may want to check if you blog:

BOOKS: On my posts about YA and Teen Fiction titles, you will notice that I sometimes include links to Amazon.  This is because I feel that an ultimate purchase decision rests with you. Also, by linking to Amazon, I give you the benefit of 100’s of reader reviews.  These are usually along the order of “I love this book sooo much” or “I hate Character X, but otherwise, this book is great.”  Take ’em or leave ’em.  If you do click through to purchase a book, I may eventually receive a penny or two to help defray the costs of running this website.

The following books are included here, because I read them, I like them, and I recommend them to you:

Branding Yourself: How to Use Social Media to Invent or Reinvent Yourself (Que Biz-Tech)

The authors of Branding Yourself, Eric Deckers and Kyle Lacy,  practice what they preach.
